BITSS Annual Meeting 2018

Conference   |  past event  |  Dec 10 2018

BITSS held its seventh Annual Meeting on December 10, 2018 at the David Brower Center in Berkeley, California. The event brings together leaders from academia, scholarly publishing, and policy to share knowledge and discuss the evolving movement toward research transparency and efforts to strengthen the standards of openness and integrity in the social sciences.

The 2018 Annual Meeting featured keynote addresses by Betsy Levy Paluck (Princeton University) on preliminary results from the BITSS State of Social Sciences (3S) Study, Andrew Foster (Brown University) on the registered reports pilot at the Journal of Development Economics, a panel discussion on Open Policy Analysis, and presentations of selected research from an open Call for Papers.

The Call for Papers is now closed.

The 2018 BITSS Annual Meeting is supported by the Hewlett Foundation and an anonymous donor. Please contact BITSS Program Associate Aleks Bogdanoski (abogdanoski@berkeley.edu) with any questions about the event.
